Andy graduated from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington, with a BA in Finance and Economics. A native Iowan, Andy thought his future was in the Pacific Northwest. So, after graduation, Andy worked as a Financial Advisor for a brokerage house and as a Senior Financial Analyst for The Boeing Company.

Although Andy left Iowa for college and some work experience, Andy felt a strong pull to return to Iowa and join his father's firm. Since returning in 1998, Andy has become a key component internally to Murk-n-T but more importantly to our valued clients. Andy became President of Murk-n-T in 2004. Andy provides tax and business analysis with financial planning and pension advice. Through current tax and estate planning, Andy will sit down with clients and plan their long-term goals.

Andy resides in Coralville, Iowa, with his wife, Amy, his four sons, and their dog, Ruby.
