Russell Thompson

Russ is the cornerstone of our team and an expert on corporate entity structuring and tax law. He was first employed in 1976 with the Iowa Farm Business Association as an organizational specialist.

Russ was raised on a family farm in Warren County, Iowa. He graduated with a BS in Accounting from Drake University in 1966.

Russ's prior experience as a internal auditor, tax specialist and controller combined with his unique mixture of corporate tax and agribusiness have brought Murk-n-T to the industry forefront in Eastern Iowa.

Russ has been published on numerous occasions in periodicals such as Farm Business Journal and Successful Farming.

Russ resides in Iowa City, Iowa, with his wife, Joy.
